Nuathoranee Thongracha (Thai: เหนือธรณี ทองราชา), also known as Nuathoranee Sor.Kettalingchan (เหนือธรณี ส.เขตตลิ่งชัน) or Nuathoranee Wor.Taweekiat (เหนือธรณี ว.ทวีเกียรติ) is a Thai retired Muay Thai kickboxer who competed and became famous during the 1980s and 1990s, the golden age of Muay Thai.

Career

Nuathoranee is considered one of the most successful kickboxers in the late 1980s and 1990s under events organized by popular promoter Songchai Rattanasuban.

The famous opponents he has fought against include Namphon Nongkeepahuyuth, Namkabuan Nongkeepahuyuth, Kongtoranee Payakaroon, Den Muangsurin, Samranthong Kiatbanchong, Jongsanan Fairtex, Orono Por Muang Ubon, Ritthichai Lookchaomaesaitong, Sangtiennoi Sor.Rungroj, Chandet Sor Prantalay, Wangchannoi Sor Palangchai, Superlek Sorn E-Sarn, Mathee Jadeepitak, Rajasak Sor.Vorapin.[2]

In his fight with Den Muangsurin in 1993, he sent Den down for an eight count twice but lost the bout by technical knockout in the 3rd round due to an elbow strike from Den which opened a cut and let blood ran down his face.[1]

After retirement, he turned into a trainer and later moved to Japan. One of his most successful students is K-1 MAX champion Masato Kobayashi.[3]
