Kannada cinema produces films in Kannada language. The 1965 film Satya Harishchandra was the first Kannada film to cross 1 crore.[1] The 1995 film Om was the first Kannada film to cross 10 crores.[1] Mungaru Male was the first Kannada film to cross 50 crores.[2] Raajakumara was the first Kannada movie to cross ₹75 crore mark.[3] KGF: Chapter 1 was the first Kannada film to gross ₹100, ₹150, ₹200 and ₹250 crores.[4][5][6] Its sequel KGF: Chapter 2 was the first Kannada film to gross ₹500, ₹750, ₹1000 and ₹1250 crores.[7][8][9][10]
