Railway

Station Code : LPJL There is a railway station at Jagityal located at Lingampet village. So station name is Lingampet Jagityal. It is a part of the Peddapalli-Nizamabad line.

This station is a major exporter of mangoes, maize, rice and other agricultural products. In the future this station will become a major junction with passengers and goods transport. A weekly Train between Lokmanya Tilak (Mumbai) - Karimnagar was started in 2022 has a halt at Jagityal . Daily a MEMU Pushpull train from Nizamabad-Sirpur town runs and stops at this station. There is a proposal of Jagityal City people and surrounding rural people for running of Tirupati- Karimnagar express to extend and Start from Jagityal Railway Station.
