Object history
English: Coat of arms of the Danish capital Copenhagen. Based on the oldest known city seal from 1254. Originally the seal depicted a wall with towers which gradually transformed into three towers. The current version was officially granted in 1661 by Frederick III whose royal cypher can be seen on the middle tower.
