Bandera (Santiago del Estero) is a municipality and town in Santiago del Estero Province in Argentina.[1] It is the capital of the Belgrano Department, at the edge of National Route 98. Bandera is located some 272 km from the provincial capital, which is reached by National Route No. 34 and Provincial Route No. 21. The town has 5,335 inhabitants, according to the 2001 census, 67% of the total population of the department.
