Maharshi Vashishtha Autonomous State Medical College, Basti[1] (MVASMC, Basti) is a government autonomous state medical college in Basti, Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The college is affiliated with King George's Medical University and is recognized by the National Medical Commission.[3]

About

The foundation stone of college was laid in year 2016, along with Rajarshi Dashrath Autonomous State Medical College, Ayodhya.[4] The undergraduate student intake was 100 students in 2019.[5] Medical college spreads over 17 acres of land. MVASMC is associated with OPEC hospital, it's teaching hospital.[6][7][8] which is spread on 34 acres.[9]

This college offers degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS). DNB, BSc Nursing and various para-medical courses are also offered.[10][11]
